CLASS Details

  • Description

This intensive seven week Diploma in Silver Jewellery Course has been designed to help you develop the bench skills you need to produce professional silver jewellery. 
 
The course focuses exclusively on silver, gold and stone setting techniques and will take you from basic silver jewellery skills to being able to design and produce your own collection using a range of techniques and design skills.

The course includes taught workshops and guided workbench days which are supported by professional jewellers to help you practice your skills and complete your own designs.

The course is taught in small groups in a fully-equipped jewellery workshop with all the basic materials, including silver and gold, needed for each class included.

2025:

Start date – Monday 2nd June 2025 
End date – Friday 18th July 2025
Classes are 10am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

We are only running one intensive summer course this year, so hurry as there are only 8 spaces available.

2026:

JUNE:

Tutors:

The workshops on this course are taught by experienced and successful designer jewellers and you will be assigned an individual mentor to support you on your Diploma journey. 




 

What is included?

Included in the cost of the course are all of the basic materials needed for each lesson, including silver, gold and stones for each applicable class, use of our fully equipped studios during your classes and our expert tuition. You will also be assigned a support tutor who will mentor and support you. 

 

What will be expected of me?

You will be expected to attend all classes throughout the programme and need 90% attendance or more to pass the course. If you miss a class it will be up to you to make up the work missed in your own time and at your own cost. 
 
This class is run and assessed by Jewellers Academy Brighton.





Who is this Diploma for?

This intensive Diploma is perfect for you:

  • If you want to train as a jeweller

  • If you would love to start a side business or would like to make jewellery your full time occupation (you absolutely can achieve this!)

  • You could be a beginner or have some experience of making jewellery and want a structured programme to continue to develop your skills 

  • If you would like to fast-track your training into 7 weeks

  • You would like to learn in-person, build a community of fellow jewellers and learn in a brand-new state-of-the-art studio equipped with all the best tools!
